Count on Felix Poletti to do something different. He came over to Montreal in the summer of 2002 to go to a wedding, and as it happened, he had time to come down to Lake Placid for the party that followed the FIBT Congress. I spent a bit of time with him there, and then we went on our separate ways. I headed off to Massachusetts to spend a day at Terry Holland's house, and the day after that I got back on the road. As it turns out, I ran into Felix again, at a gas station near Buffalo. He rummaged around inside his rental car for a while, and came out with some Felix Poletti cookies he had had made for a party after the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Park City.
